On Friday the 7th of July the Disctrict Scouts took part in the raft race on Thompson’s Park. Thehy had an hour to build the raft followed by an hour of racing. Scouts Root Out The Problem at Towneley

On Wednesday 2nd July, St. Andrew’s Scouts from Burnley shared the outdoor adventure at Towneley Park by helping pick some Himalayan Balsam which stops other plants from growing as well. Scouts from 16th Pendle Scouts in Colne spent a night sleeping in cardboard boxes to raise money for Safe Space, a homeless charity in Nelson.
